The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), Chennai has officially started the registration process for the HITSEEE 2026 entrance examination. This exam is conducted every year for admission into undergraduate programmes such as Engineering (B.Tech), Architecture (B.Arch), and Design (B.Des) offered by the institute.

What is HITSEEE?

HITSEEE is conducted for admission to the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. It is an online entrance examination held every year for students seeking admission to B.Tech programmes. BArch Pass in Class 12 or equivalent exam with an average not less than 60% with Mathematics / Business Mathematics as one of the subjects
Pass in Diploma (3 years) with Mathematics / Business Mathematics as a subject

Scored a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised central / state government institute

All candidates must appear in the Aptitude test conducted by the Council of Architecture (NATA), and the score should not be less than 80 out of 200
BTech (Lateral Entry) Passed BSc in Science of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% aggregate, and studied Mathematics in Class 12 or studied Mathematics as a core or ancillary subject at the BSc level alone, are eligible for admission
